Gorgon
“Gorgon” is a journey into a massive bio-organic machine. Who built it? What is its
purpose?
Artificial Intelligence is at a tipping point. One day, not too far in the future, we will
build a human level intelligence with full access to robotic powers. This machine will
create smarter and smarter versions of itself, with increasing speed. Some say that
this may well be the last machine that humans ever build. We are left to wonder: Is
this a promise – or a curse?
Gorgon is such a machine, way too complex for us to understand, serving a purpose
only the machine brain can comprehend. It is terrifying and fascinating at the same
time, just as our own future.
Gorgon has its roots in ancient Greek mythology. Legend says that the three
monstrous sisters, Stheno, Euryale, and the most famous of them, Medusa, had
slithering serpents as hair and a gaze that would turn anyone who looked at them to
stone.
But are they really as ugly as we are told? Or is there a hidden beauty behind their
monstrous facade? Do you dare to look them in the eye and face our future?
The soundtrack for 'Gorgon' is available to stream/buy via Sonarpilot Audio from Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and all digital music platforms
